I think this comment is worth sharing with you guys because this comment entails a lot of what I and many other people think is or may be flawed about Youtube nowadays. Anyways, here’s the comment for your convenience: Remember when you could watch a video without having to sit thorough a commerical? Remember when music videos were uploaded by users and not VEVO? Remember when all the info was to the right of the video? Remember when you could rate a video from 1-5 stars? Remember the famous yellow subscribe button? @WaxPoetic689 the thing is I am not sure if ad partners are allowed to decide where their ads should appear. Of course the ads where you are FORCED to watch the first 15 seconds of an ad right before a video are annoying as hell, and I’ve noticed that in a lot of partner’s videos.

@goatgruffy66 actually if I recall correctly, Youtube didn’t allow anybody to rate half of a star. Users could only rate a video by a whole number rating. The accumulation of all the ratings could however be a 3.5 for instance.

I agree man… often when a commercial pops up and one has to wait… I tend to unsub… to think what these people get paid for it… well… the matter is a farce… greed… nothing more than greed…
Although, I don’t mind the adds at the side…

I whole-heartedly agree with the stars ratings.
For instance.. Some videos I watch by certain users are usually good videos…
I would rate most of your videos about 3.5, Jack. because you are a pretty entertaining Vlogger. However… I would be hard pressed to give any of your videos a thumbs down, because you rarely deserve a dislike…
Maybe a 2.5 … the star ratings made a lot more sense.

@supersmash43 to the advertisers of course they would WANT the ads at the beginning of the video where you are forced to watch however much of the ad before you can watch the video BECAUSE the advertisers obviously want to shove their beloved product down your throats aka brainwash you into buying the product! Oophs I meant to say persuade you into buying their product and/or service.
I honestly don’t mind ads TOO much…
